The Brief
Sizewell C is a new nuclear power station on the East Suffolk coast, which will supply 6 million homes with low-carbon electricity. Construction of the site is now well underway, and as such we were approached to create a film to update stakeholders, staff and the public on progress.
Our Approach
Together with the team at Sizewell, we adapted their key messages to create a script that covered the key points while still staying conversational. Sizewell wanted the film to be presented by an apprentice, beginning their career at the start of the build. Luckily they suggested Jack who with our guidance, took to the camera like a duck to water! We filmed over 2 days in order to capture the large site and local community both from the ground and air in a safe way.
The Result
The finished film which spanned several locations, gave viewers an impressive picture of the progress that had been made and the upcoming project goals. It was really well received by the client and is already getting good traction online with 5000 views in the first week.
