Ever sat on a webinar and struggled to hear or see who’s speaking properly? Us too! Its frustrating, because when they work well webinars are great! They’re economical: they save on venue hire, travel expenses and time. That also means they are environmentally responsible! And they’re data rich: You can use power point, share documents and have multiple contributors. But their reliance on webcams and built in audio means the quality might not match your brand values and they can get a bit chaotic when there are multiple contributors trying to get their point across. So, when our client CITB chose us to produce a suite of live webinars, we wanted to make sure the end product justified the investment of time and effort…
THE DEPENDABLE WEBINAR CONCEPT
A Dependable Productions Webinar combines all the benefits of a webinar with high quality production values, to deliver an interactive experience that, with a good internet connection, looks and sounds as good as a TV broadcast. Our mobile studio takes over the host webcam functionality, replacing it with multiple cameras and microphones. We can then film panelists and presenters in discussion, while responding live to questions from the invited delegates via the webinar platform. The result is a magazine style programme in broadcast quality – held together if needed by a presenter, who might be one of your people or it could be our in house presenter, Kate Simms, a former BBC presenter with more than a decade of TV experience.
All we need to create your online broadcast is a webinar platform, some space, some interviewees and a good internet connection- and we’ll do the rest. We’ll build a team to fit your needs: Director, Camera Operator and a presenter if needed. We can manage the webinar completely, taking care of the sound, visuals and interactivity. We can also create pre-recorded videos to enhance the experience if needed.
We produced a series of 16 webinars for our client CITB, who wanted to communicate procedural change to different groups of users. The organisation were not only delighted with the quality of the broadcasts, but also with the impact they had: Engagement levels were up on comparable event-based meetings and viewers remained engaged throughout the broadcast. The remote link also appeared to encourage more openness, with more questions and interactions from viewers. CITB’s CRM Business Change Manager Fiona Wilson, who managed the project told us…
” I think webinars are much more effective than being in a meeting room as they encourage more openness and questions. They’re also more cost effective and I think Dependable have done such a great job in raising the bar for webinars. The production quality is superb, so it’s a fantastic way to enhance your brand.”
